From Creamer Media in Johannesburg, this is the Real Economy Report.
Sashnee Moodley:
Aggregates and mining equipment company Athos Crushing & Screening has launched a fully electric range of mobile crushers and screens called Powertrack, built by SRHeavy. Schalk Burger has the story.
Schalk Burger:
The initial Powertrack range comprises a mobile jaw crusher, a mobile cone crusher, a mobile triple-deck screen and a mobile scalping screen.
The fully electric range provides a cost advantage and is available at a competitive price point. Additionally, fully electric crushing and screening solutions reduce operating costs because electric-drive systems are more cost-effective and cost-efficient than conventional diesel hydraulic equipment.
Athos sales and marketing director Francois Marais provides insights into the range of electric equipment.
